Terms & refunds

Storykin is operated by Your Name / Company Pvt Ltd. Digital books are paid through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, who appears on your statement and handles sales tax. Printed hardcovers are paid through PayPal and printed and shipped by our print partner, Lulu.

What you buy

A one-time $19 (USD, or the equivalent in your currency) purchase of one digital personalized storybook: the online book, a print-ready PDF, the individual illustrations and 3 redraws. You may print it for personal use as often as you like.

Printed hardcovers

An optional 8.5″ × 8.5″ hardcover, priced at checkout for your address, copies and delivery speed (printing, delivery and tax included). Each copy is printed on demand once the book is finished, usually within 3-5 working days, then shipped; delivery times are estimates from the carrier. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, email us a photo within 30 days and we'll reprint it free. Because each book is made just for you, we can't accept returns of correctly printed books, but you can cancel for a full refund until it goes to the printer.

Your photos

You confirm you are the child's parent or guardian, or have their permission, and that you have the right to use the photos. Don't upload photos of other people's children without permission.

AI illustrations

Pictures are painted by AI from your photo. Likeness is usually strong but can vary between pages; that's what the free preview and the redraws are for.

Refunds

If the book doesn't feel like your child after using the redraws, email support@storykin.griffintaur.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. If a technical problem stops your book being delivered, we refund it automatically.
